Photo Booth Rentals FAQs
My El Paso Booth Just the FAQ(s)
We want to help you make as much of an informed decision as possible when it comes to selecting a photo booth for your event. Here are a few things to think about when making your decision to help you get an idea of what time of photo booth is going to be just right for you and your event. Whether it’s a birthday party rental, wedding reception, or school event we want to ensure that all involved have an absolute blast!
When selecting a photo booth it is of utmost importance to have a place in mind for your selection. Open-air booths, or traditional booths may work better for you depending on what kind of venue you have and what you hope to accomplish. All photo booths need to be connected to a power source so that they can operate. Some photo booth companies may also require a covering in case you plan to hold your event inside in order to protect the equipment from the elements. If you have access to your venue, it would be a good idea to ask how accessible are power supplies and power outlets to get a feel for where the booth can/should be placed. Traditional photo booths tend to have less space inside them, so if you have guests who may need to use crutches or wheelchairs you may want to opt for an open-air photo booth to better accommodate everyone.
Parent Tested Kid Approved
If you are looking to have a photo booth at your next event for a child, then there are a few things that you want to consider. Kids are awesome, and have a ton of energy (this coincidentally can make for some pretty epic photos) but may not be a consciousness of their surroundings while letting that out. When planning for an event like a birthday party, you might want to have the booth somewhere kids are least likely to crash into something or knock something over. A traditional photo booth may make for a more compact solution, with less equipment exposed to potential mishaps. Most photo booths are sized so that adults fit in frame, so you may want to inquire about extras stools and furniture that can be used to make sure those smiling faces can be captured. There are some photo booth companies that do have booths designed specifically for kids, but this something that’s good to ask about.

Mainly, photo booths print two copies of photo strips (one of the guests renting the booth, and one for guests attending the event). A lot of photo booths pre-cut the photo strips, but some still require someone manually be present to do this, so be sure to ask about this! The photo strips that are printed come out in a 2 x 6 size. There are some photo booths that do print standard sized photos, but it is much less common. There are usually lots of options for extras (some companies may put together photo albums or customize the strips so they can be used in thank you cards), so don’t be shy about asking what kind of packages are available.
